How Peppy's fees work, and where you see them
What's free, what a send costs, where the network fee goes, and the review screen that shows all of it before you approve. With worked examples.

Peppy has one rule about fees: you see every one of them before you approve anything. This post is the long version.
What's free
- Opening an account
- Holding money in any balance
- Creating a receiving address
Sending to an outside address
When you send USDT, ETH or TRX to an address outside Peppy, two charges can apply.
Peppy's send fee. It's 0.5% of the amount, at least $0.50, charged in the coin you send and added on top. The recipient gets the full amount you typed. For USDT it works out like this:
| You send | Peppy's fee | Leaves your USDT balance |
|---|---|---|
| 40 USDT | 0.50 USDT | 40.50 USDT |
| 100 USDT | 0.50 USDT | 100.50 USDT |
| 250 USDT | 1.25 USDT | 251.25 USDT |
| 1,000 USDT | 5.00 USDT | 1,005.00 USDT |
Under 100 USDT, the $0.50 minimum is what you pay. From 100 USDT up, it's 0.5%. ETH and TRX follow the same rule in their own coin, and the review screen shows the exact amount.
The network fee. Every blockchain charges a fee to carry a transfer. It goes to the network, not to Peppy, and Peppy adds nothing to it. On Tron it's paid in TRX from your Tron address; on Ethereum, in ETH from your Ethereum address. That's why it isn't in the table above: it doesn't come out of your USDT.
If your TRX or ETH can't cover the network fee, the app tells you how much you need before you send, and you can receive more at your own address.
What the review screen shows
Every send opens a review screen first. It lists:
- what the recipient receives
- Peppy's fee
- the network fee, and which balance pays it
- the total that leaves your balance
The network fee is shown as the most the send can cost. You pay the actual fee, which is usually lower. The quote lasts two minutes, and nothing moves until you approve it with your 4-digit PIN.
Fees Peppy never charges
Peppy only charges the fees listed on the fees page, and they're always taken inside the app. Nobody from Peppy will ever ask you to pay to "unlock", "release" or "verify" a transfer. If someone does, it isn't Peppy.
